New York City Hackathon
March 25-26, 2017
Anheuser-Busch beers must pass through multiple checkpoints before they can be enjoyed by consumers. After being brewed, bottled and packaged, beers are shipped to wholesalers who then have the mission of selling them to various POCs or points of contact - think your favorite bar, restaurant, grocery or liquor store. The process to get beers from the brewery into consumers hands has improved tremendously over the years but inefficiencies still remain. Help us bring innovation to POCs and deliver your favorite beers to you as quickly as possible.
Hackathons are all about reimagining the boundaries of what’s possible. We’re looking for the best developers, engineers, and scientists to help us shape the future. We have two challenges that await, therefore, we believe participants that call on the under categories below will be able to execute the challenges that will be posed.
Specific details regarding the two challenges will be given on the day of the hackathon, but come prepared and expect the following:
Internet of Things
Calling all engineers! The IoT challenge will require everything you have in your toolkit. Raspberry Pi’s Arduinos, Resistors, Modules, bring it all!
Do you like looking for patterns and solving puzzles? Are you excited by the potential of connecting seemingly unrelated information scattered around the world? Deploy cutting edge techniques against our diverse data set to create new capabilities and find game changing insights.
We believe that the best idea and execution deserve the best prizes. Here's what we're offering...
Grand prize winners earn $10,000 USD
Second place winners earn $3,500 USD
Third place winners earn $1,500 USD
